5K SUB 21 CHALLENGE – Leap Year Parkrun

I attended the special edition of the Leap Year Parkrun at Bishan Park, Singapore! This is my 7th time running a Parkrun and it was fantastic as usual.

This time, I challenge myself to run a Sub 21 minutes 5k race for the first time ever! To be able to do that, I will need to run a 4:12min/km pace.

My previous personal best for a 5k race is around 21mins+ and as I continued to train, I shall challenge to keep running better and faster.

Running a 5k race for me is much tougher than running a 10k or a half marathon. If I start off too slow, my target might be gone by the first k. If I start running too fast, I may blow up in a matter of minutes.

So watch as I do my best to achieve a new Personal Best timing.
